Kenya Kaguyu – Medium Roast
$10.00 – $35.00
Taste Notes: Tangerine, buttery taffy, stroopwafel, and coconut with some chocolatey tones.
Kenya coffee is so unique and dimensional! This coffee is very inviting with the aroma and has plenty of acidity to excite your tastebuds. The coffee hits the sides of your mouth with the acidity and delivers full and rich buttery flavor throughout the cup. It reminds me of eating homemade caramels or homemade taffy. It definitely keeps you coming back for more. This is one of the most interesting coffees I’ve ever had.
This coffee is also special because it is from a Fort Wayne supplier (Kenam Coffee) that Mathew runs. He grew up on a coffee farm in Kenya and now supports his family farm by importing and supplying roasters in the states. I got to spend some time with Mathew roasting and drinking coffee. He shared how he wants to help support his family’s farm because so many farms are being developed into commercial or residential neighborhoods. He wants to continue to see the coffee farm flourish and survive.
